About Us
At Access Neuropsychology, LLC targeted evaluations are designed to meet the needs of every youth in order to promote positive development and healthy outcomes.
Dr. Andrea Sherwood is a board certified pediatric neuropsychologist and the owner of Access Neuropsychology, LLC. As an experienced clinician and educator, Dr. Sherwood provides science-based neuropsychological services to children and adolescents. She helps families better understand how their young person’s brain is working by using standardized testing procedures to identify cognitive strengths and weaknesses. By understanding brain and behavior relationships, Dr. Sherwood is able to guide families in choosing evidence-based treatment strategies and educational programs for their child.

Heru Black, psychometrist, holds a Bachelor’s degree from Clark University, with a major in Psychology and a minor in Self-Expression. Heru joined Access Neuropsychology in March 2023. He has specialty training in pediatric neuropsychology and has also worked as a behavioral health technician in residential treatment centers and as a caregiver in after-school programs.
Elisa Gonzales, psychometrist, holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico, with a major in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. Elisa joined Access Neuropsychology in June 2024. She is currently working on her Master’s in Counselor Education at the University of New Mexico. She is looking forward to serving the community as a licensed mental health counselor in the future.
